To kick off our Australian summer, I wrote a post titled ‘Bring On the Heat’. This particular piece has me revealing a little more skin than usual. After all, I wanted to give you a little of what Summer is all about. While this outfit makes for a suitable Summer outfit, I wanted to layer it up for my International readers who live in parts of the world where it isn’t so warm right this moment. So here’s what I came up with. Tell me what you think.
Im wearing: Lingerie top | High waisted shorts by Valley Girl | Jacket by Marc by Marc Jacobs | Red felt floppy hat from Anthropologie | Statement necklace by Pam Hiran | Heels by Zara | Microfishnet pantyhose by Rede Classic
For some extra warmth there is always the option of switching it up with a lovely oversized coat and booties. Finally if you love the hat and necklace it’s still available for purchase on anthropologie.com!
Many years ago I was reading the Vogue shopping blog at work and found out through a million other shoppaholics that there was an Alice McCall sale happening right next door. I hurried over to the sale and grabbed just about everything that I thought I’d fit into. That’s right I was so excited about getting my hands on these hot pieces that I didn’t even bother to try them on and just zipped my credit card through at the counter. I am proud to say I still have all these items and will never ever grow tired of them. Today’s hot hypnotic dress included.
I have worn this number pre, during and post pregnancy and manage to get compliments every time. It definitely is a blessing to have lost the 20+ kilos I gained during my pregnancy. Credits to genetics!
Moral of this story. Don’t ditch the items you love and feel good about the body you’re in! It’s saved me from having to buy any new clothes these last 5 months.

Have a lovely night and thanks for reading this post.
I am normally not one for colours. In fact, my wardrobe could be stripped right back to just black, white, grey and blue. However, I felt that the working week needed to start off with a colour less dull than the weather of late.
Whilst I had selected a blue blazer the night before to wear over my outfit, I decided to ditch it for my neglected bright fuchsia coloured coat. The colour combination was perfect and I stood out like a highlighter at work.
I can’t help but feel proud when I make the effort to wear something I normally wouldn’t because it’s a step towards meeting my new year’s resolution.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you love this outfit.
Layering up in the cooler months is fun especially when you have a wardrobe full of coats. What I admire about this trench coat are the pleats. Just adorable and I believe that I could get away with wearing it as a dress too.
A comfortable outfit for work today. Lots of black, some leopard print for a little sexiness and flats for feet loving. I have been advised to stay of the heels for a while to help with my posture. Unfortunately my body isn’t in quite the same shape since I had my precious girl.
One year ago I celebrated my birthday with a beautiful newborn girl and husband turned father. This year I fortunately have the day off to spend with my toddler doing sweet FA!
I chose to wear something comfortable on this awesome day. Whats back in my style books is knee high boots over trousers. This also works well with biker boots except I don’ t own a pair at the moment. Wish I did.
Thanks for coming by and hope you have a great day. Xx
