Hello lovers

After having my second baby recently, my wardrobe has had to go through a huge change. Lately it’s all about what can I be bothered wearing if I got a chance to get out of my PJ’s. Mostly, it’s comfortable clothes that are loose, breathable, stretchy and most importantly breastfeeding worthy. If I can’t breastfeed my babe in the damn thing than I most likely won’t bother wearing it because I’ll have to take it off anyway. So the other week when I made a trip to a local store, I found this gorgeous bird printed playsuit that ticked all my boxes. Not only is this pretty on the eyes, but it’s perfect for our summer season, comes with an elasticated waist and the wrap top making it convenient to attend to my babes needs. Who knew that playsuits would make for a great postpartum outfit right.

I decided to style it with bright earrings gifted by my best friend, round shaped sunglasses and a fedora to give it that retro feel and flats for added walking comfort.

Hope you love the look and thanks for dropping in to read my post.

Hello lovelies and happidy humpidy day

I hope everyone is enjoying the week thus far. Over here in Melbourne it’s gone from sunshine to stormy weather. I keep up with the weather by wearing my Summer clothes during Winter and vice versa. What’s that called? transition fashion? adapting? or simply confused?.

We took these photographs over the weekend just passed. I remember feeling fresh and manicured that day after my trip to the hairdressers. Frequent trips to the hairdressers seems to be the story of my life at the moment and I’m a little sick of it. I will see how long I last but, my aim will be to avoid the hairdressers for as long as I can and grow the shit out of my hair. Sorry to those that love this hairstyle. I will miss it too.

As per most weekends, I am in my natural casual style since I spend most of my time catching up on life. I did however bring my outfit up a notch by throwing in my leopard print booties and a red clutch to break up that black and white.

I know it’s taken a while for me to post these photographs however, that same day I made a commitment to spend less time blogging and more time with my family. My little darling is growing up so fast and I’ve realised that blogging is just eating so much into my precious family time. So as a heads up, you will be hearing less of me, but you can always keep up with my Instagram if you have yet to go there.

Thanks for reading my post. xx

Hello hello

I have been very active on the blog of late. For me I find it quite therapeutic to sit down after dinner and write a blog post about what I wore on the day so I hope you enjoy reading them.

You may have seen this very dress on my black and white challenge in March this year. Today I’ve decided to layer it with a floral cardigan and a cute pair of ballet flats. Despite my hairstyle this outfit made me feel very lady like.
