Hello lovers

At 2.5 years of age, my daughter is now very well aware that there is a baby in my tummy and gives it kisses followed by telling me and everyone ‘I’m going to be a good big sister’. She also says ‘ oh baby is cuuuuute’ and ‘I’m having a baby sister’. I’m thoroughly impressed and so is her dad.

Dressed in semi-matching outfits, the squirt and I had a little time for a photoshoot on our way to C.E.R.E.S. I managed to find a vintage dress that fit me (thanks to the elasticated waist) and unfortunately it’s not for sale on Mode Madison. Sorry folks but this dress fits me so I’m keeping it. I accessorised it with some nice ballet flats, a cute vintage bag and my favourite jacket this season. My daughter has a very similar mini jacket so I just couldn’t resist on being a little matchy matchy. Besides, she loooves looking like mummy.

If my style does inspire you, there a a whole lot of gorgeous vintage dresses with elasticated waists on Mode Madison.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey it’s Monday

Worst day of the week so I thought it’d be a great opportunity to brighten up your feed.

My daughter completely steals the show in this post with her cuteness. I mean look at that biker jacket and those mixed prints on those teeny tiny clothes. There was absolutely no way she would get away with a little mum and daughter twinning. So here it is folks…introducing our first matchy matchy mum and daughter outfits.

Thanks for reading and I hope you love the photographs.

Hey hey it’s hump day!

The weather is so good over here in Melbourne and good weather comes with good moods and less clothing.

Aside from the wonderful weather, I have loved plucking out a whole lot of items out of my wardrobe that I haven’t worn for a very long time. There’s that same excitement of having a new item to wear.

On the blog today let’s give a warm welcome to this pretty little dress and cute bow bag from circa long time ago.

Thanks for reading everyone and I can’t wait to show you all the other ways I plan to wear these items.

Outfit breakdown (All items are old)

Thanks so much for following my new years resolution blog.

Do you have wardrobe items that you wear over and over again even though there are likely to be an abundance of other items to be worn? I do. Many in fact. It would be the reason as to why I already have so many pictures of this dress (here, here, here & here) on my blog.

You have to however give me some credit for all the outfit variations using this same dress. It comes with it’s versatility and my personal commitment not buy any more clothes. Makes me proud.

I hope this post provides you with some inspiration and ideas. As I have mentioned before, you don’t have to constantly update your wardrobe to look good.

Until next time. xxx

I absolutely love tieing up my scarf into a bow. A scarf tied into a bow makes quite the cute accessory over an outfit that has simple colours and patterns.

It works particularly well with dresses and you can make the bow as large or small as you want to suit the attire. Easy to take of in the office to.

Give it a go!

Thanks for reading.

Truth me told, after a tiresome night from my little one keeping me awake I just threw this outfit together. I don’t feel stylish, I just feel scruffy.

Thanks god it is Thursday because its my last day of the working week.

Hope everyone has a lovely day and once again thanks for reading.
