TRENCHIN’

Hello lovelies

Firstly sorry about the quality of these photos. It was cold and dark this morning so the lighting didn’t quite work in our favour. Nevertheless, hubs who takes all my pictures tried his best using my mobile phone. Truth be told like most bloggers, we do have a pro camera but it’s just so much more convenient to use my phone for all the photos.

Today’s smart casual look was layered with one of a few trench coats I own. I love the colour of this coat, the fact that it’s lightweight enough to feel comfortable on, large enough to layer, and thick enough to keep me warm.

It works really well with that Burberry bag too don’t you think? Not to mention the lasercut top that I am completely obsessed with at the moment.

Thanks for reading.

SOLID COLOURS

Hello there gorgeous,

Although my style does lean more towards the casual side, I am not one for a particular sense of style. My outfits are generally based on my mood and how I am feeling which is why the clothing in my wardrobe is so diverse from glam to rock. I do now find that this hairstyle does bring a whole lot of edginess to what I do wear so it’s tricky to look completely conservative at work but I don’t mind it.

Today’s outfit was simply layered for our gorgeous Autumn weather. I am covered in solid colours and have added in my leopard print booties and vintage 70’s handbag to make the outfit a touch more interesting.

Since I have hardly given any love to these gorgeous leopard print booties, I have decided to make it my centrepiece for the entire working week. Make sure you check in daily for updates.

CHECK BABY CHECK BABY 1-2-3

Truth me told, after a tiresome night from my little one keeping me awake I just threw this outfit together. I don’t feel stylish, I just feel scruffy.

Thanks god it is Thursday because its my last day of the working week.

Hope everyone has a lovely day and once again thanks for reading.

BLACK ON BLACK…YESSS

Week 3, February 1 item, 4 ways challenge

Day 52 – black on black

I am all for black on black on black on black. Lining up with the this weeks theme, the tops that I have chosen to couple with my leggings are all quite lengthy as I find it more flattering.

One more post to go in wrapping up this weeks Febuary challenge.

LEGGINGS AND THE TUNIC

Week 3, February 1 item, 4 ways challenge

Day 51 – the best-friend tunic

This look has been done over and over again using the same tunic and different leggings. I have branded it the best-friend tunic simply because it was a gift from my best friend many years ago.

Tunics provide great butt coverage (great for see-through leggings) and you don’t need to worry about those exposed panty lines either.

SUITING UP

Week 3, February 1 item, 4 ways challenge

Day 49 – suit up

I, for a very long time have loved the suit jacket, shirt and leggings combination. It’s rare that I wear a complete suit as I much prefer to mix and match my outfit with a variety of tops, jackets, bottoms and shoes and you can do the same to go with your sense of style.  I was inspired by Olivia Palermo to add in a pussy bow to this look using a fabric belt.
