After having my second baby recently, my wardrobe has had to go through a huge change. Lately it’s all about what can I be bothered wearing if I got a chance to get out of my PJ’s. Mostly, it’s comfortable clothes that are loose, breathable, stretchy and most importantly breastfeeding worthy. If I can’t breastfeed my babe in the damn thing than I most likely won’t bother wearing it because I’ll have to take it off anyway. So the other week when I made a trip to a local store, I found this gorgeous bird printed playsuit that ticked all my boxes. Not only is this pretty on the eyes, but it’s perfect for our summer season, comes with an elasticated waist and the wrap top making it convenient to attend to my babes needs. Who knew that playsuits would make for a great postpartum outfit right.
I decided to style it with bright earrings gifted by my best friend, round shaped sunglasses and a fedora to give it that retro feel and flats for added walking comfort.
Hope you love the look and thanks for dropping in to read my post.

Since the purchase of these amazing unicorn heels I’ve been absolutely dying to wear them out. They aren’t your conventional kind of shoes. Rather they’re a statement piece, designed to add a little quirk to your look.
First off the cuff, I wanted to pair the shoes with a similar colour pallette and create a look that was both glamorous and playful. Set in a dreamy location, a vintage pairing seemed the way to go. Do you think I did these shoes justice?
Thanks loves and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

My daughter may have been a little excited by the life size Barbie
Hello and goodbye to another weekend!
A few weeks ago, my ever so sweet bestfriend who has never owned a barbie in her life decides she wants a barbie themed party. I literally raised my eyebrows, cringe a little and then got over it, because if thats whats she wants then lets! Leading up to the day, I went to my Instagram followers to help make a decision on my choice of wig (white or blue) because lets face it, my short hair isn’t going to cut the Barbie look. I also knew that I didn’t have the option of buying a new outfit for the party, so I rummaged around in my wardrobe for something cute, fitted and pink. I seriously struggled with pink because it’s not my colour. My colour, is shades of black, grey and white. But somehow, Barbie was born….Platinum Barbie. What do you think of this little costume? Admittedly, I have never ever played dress up for a party before so after decades on earth, I suddenly realised what I have been missing out on all these years. The party was so much fun and it helped that everyone was such a good sport on the night.
